UNIVERSITY CO-OP POSITION

  • Develop and teach computer literacy workshops
  • Create connections between computer science and other STEM fields
  • Both 4 and 8 month terms available

AFTER SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR POSITION

  • Teach STEM programs to elementary school students during a 1-2 hour session
  • Gain valuable teaching experience in a classroom
  • Teach curriculum on topics such as Earth Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics and more!
  • Polish your classroom management techniques
  • Positions are available in Coquitlam, Surrey, Vancouver, etc.

AL!VE GIRLS WEEKEND CLUB INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR

  • Teach STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in our AL!VE Girls – all-girls STEM program 
  • Gain experience working with children in a classroom setting
  • Program runs every second Saturday (bi-weekly) from 9:30am-12:30pm from September to December at the SFU Burnaby campus 
  • Both Coordinator and Instructor positions are available for our three age groups: Mini (Kindergarten-gr.1), Junior (gr.2-3), and Senior (gr. 4-7)

LAB RATS WEEKEND CLUB INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR

  • Teach STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in our Lab Rats – general STEM program
  • Improve your classroom management skills
  • Program runs every second Saturday (bi-weekly) from 1:00pm-4:00pm from September to December at the SFU Burnaby campus
  • Both Coordinator and Instructor positions are available for our three age groups: Mini (Kindergarten-gr.1), Junior (gr.2-3), and Senior (gr. 4-7)

CODEMAKERS 101 WEEKEND CLUB INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR

  • Teach STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in our Codemakers 101 – computer science program
  • Program runs every second Saturday (bi-weekly) from 1:00pm-4:00pm from September to December at the SFU Burnaby campus
  • The age group of the students is grades 4-8
  • Please note: it is possible to teach Codemakers 101 and 102!

CODEMAKERS 102 WEEKEND CLUB INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR

  • Update curriculum for our Codemakers 102 program during the Fall 2018 semester
  • Teach STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in our Codemakers 102 – computer science program
  • Program runs every second Saturday (bi-weekly) from 9:30am-12:30pm from September to December at the SFU Burnaby campus
  • The age group of the students is grades 4-8
  • Please note: it is possible to teach Codemakers 101 and 102!
