Science AL!VE Weekend Workshops are designed to keep that summer fun and learning going throughout the school year. Last year, we started our Lego Mindstorms NXT Weekend workshops. They have been very successful and therefore we are offering them again Spring 2013. Please read on for more information on this program!
About the Program
Participants will work one-on-one with the Lego Mindstorms NXT kits on specialized challenges! Participants will build their own robot, and learn to program them to complete the special tasks. The tasks and challenges are based on the theme of the workshop, each one will have a different mission and map to complete. Each of the Lego Mindstorms NXT WeekendWorkshops has a different theme and challenge, allowing participants to come to one or multiple weekend workshops.
Workshop Availability
- Weekend workshops are offered four times a year in March, April, October and November.
Workshop Cost
- Our weekend workshops cost $125 per session. Discounts are available if you register for multiple sessions! We require a $25 deposit to secure your seat, and it is non-refundable if you cancel after the Monday prior to the session.
